Our institute is accredited by NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) which is a benchmark for quality services.

We assure quality at each step, right from collection of blood to issue of blood. Our majority of blood collection is in outdoor blood donation camps. We use automated blood collection monitors in camps for collection to maintain best quality. The monitors have been purchased at the cost of 30 lacks rupees.

In TTI, the kits used are always CDSCO (Central Drugs Standard Control Organization) approved. Empty blood bags from each received batch are sent for quality check (sterility, bacterial endotoxin, co-agulant used) to Choksi Laboratory, Vadodara. They are being used only if they pass the quality check.

1% of the total products prepared monthly are checked for quality parameters perticularly sterility testing using fully automatic BacT/Alert system for blood culture.
Our products undergo all quality parameter testing, thus we ensure that patients will not have adverse reaction after transfusion.

Our blood unit test results are evaluated with that of other laboratories also. SRKRC participates in External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) for TTI testing and Immunohematology procedures. We are associated with Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore for EQAS in Immunohematology and with GSACS (Gujarat State AIDS Control Society) and NACO (National AIDS control Organization) for HIV testing. Samples are received and results are sent. We receive regular analysis reports of comparison of their and our results.
